Hey kemaren orientasi pertama. Tepatnya sih, orientasi untuk mahasiswa internasional 2010. Well, many nationalities ive found. They came by bus, cars (wondering why the new overseas students can get a car driving license so fast? All i know itu kan susah dapetnya! Sekalipun punya driving license di negara masing2.) Punya mates baru, dari Filipina sama Mauritius (tempatnya Ari Wibowo and his wife had honeymoon. lol) Katherine Carreon, sama Gary Leung. Creek ST lad, and Southport girl now 
Kesan? Beda banged ya sama kampus di Indonesia, apalagi Solo. Yang dateng rata2 pake hotpants, tanktop, sundress, miniskirt, sandals, sunglasses, wuaaa… felt like in a party. Seru sih, dapet burger sama soda gratis. Khusus buat mahasiswa internasional, orientasinya ga cuman ngenalin skema kampus, sistem perkuliahan, atau hal2 yang berhubungan sama kampus gitu. Jadi ada penjelasan tentang banyak hal, kaya gimana lalu lintas di Gold Coast, narasumbernya? Polisi dong , trus ada dari Life Guard, buat masalah renang, surfing, blue bottle yang beracun, sampe semua hal yang berbau pantai. Uuhhhmm…yummy… trus dari pihak asuransi, kalo buat kita yang mahasiswa internasional, kalo sakit ato kenapa2 gratis boo…
The next orientation will be on Thu, 28th January. The most awaited orientation. Called as “O” Week Orientation. Dibagi per grup berdasarkan pilihan international coursesnya. Ada online orientation, free workshop, sampe live music @courtyard. Excited!
Satu hal, jangan pernah nyoba kaya saya deh, pulang balik dari Brisbane ke Gold Coast tiap pagi sama siang pas summer, panasnya tetep ajah kena di lengan kiri. Lol. Bagaimana kabar Indonesia di musim hujan? Semoga tidak banjir, semoga lekas kering. Tau ga, saya mulai homesick.

Rame, dimana2mobil dipasangin bendera Australia, banyak barbeque party di pantai, ga pengen gabung karenaaaaaa ya pengennya sama temen sebaya, tapi gimana lagi, masi nebeng ditempat sodara. Ah…yang lebih tua itu ga seru….lol

The seat was shaking all the time, it would be my longest trip after ages mates, believe me.

Right next to me wew two old man, my left hand side were two young Australian (Darl, believe me, they’re not as cute as you…) . Delayed by the 30 mins was not a big deal, but i did not get any fun within. damn tired….. But Sydney will be a great starting point to be. Btw, while im waiting the next transfer plane to Brisbane, anyone could share advices what should i do then please? Upper the standard of something that might be able to be done by a girl like me?

Lil bit messed up this morning to get into Sydney Domestic Airport. Shoes complain, wrong carousel queue, wrong swap number caused by the Jetstar crew then we just realized that we were not booked for Jetstar to BRS, but Qantas!! And the result was …. the first Qantas plane to Brisbane was flying without me, so i gotta double check-in to get the second plane ! And a missunderstanding with EastCoast Car Rental. fiuuuh….

Having lunch at Brisbane Red Rooster which is so popular in Aussie…..

My head full of images and motion pictures which are keep blowing and such a nightmare sometimes ! Australia, yess, Gold Coast, for a new destination for a lil girl like me You know what im thinking bout anytime ? The jumping Kangoroo, the cute Koala, Aborigin dancing, and my campus. Damn great storyline….

before that, id like to say that i had such a great nite with my bestiests before i leave.
